A new label for Richard Hamilton. Bright straw colour. The wine has been fermented in new French oak casks and displays excellent barrel ferment aroma with yeast lees, biscuit and butterscotch being to the fore. The palate shows excellent length and reveals ripe melon and fig fruit flavours merged with toasted oak, yeast lees and butterscotch. Crisp acid finish with a touch of grapefruit on the end palate. Cellar 2-3 years.
