1999 Teruzzi and Puthod Peperino

This wine is made from the Sangiovese grape variety. Medium body, crimson colour with brick red edge. Subtle aroma of earth, leather and spice, followed by violets and ripe plums. On the palate, flavours of spice, plum and blueberries over a subtle leather earth background, with a trace of plum emerging. Fine grained dry, long and lingering tannins, followed by a plum and spice aftertaste. Cellar 2 - 3 years. (2003 - 2004)
