The mousse has a remarkable holding capacity, almost cappuccino like in its head, with tinges of mauve crimson. Very fine bead with good persistence. Deep crimson colour with brick red hue, showing bottle age. Aroma of prunes, ripe plum and spice with hints of leather, earth and liquorice. On the palate flavours of leather, earth, prune and ripe plum emerge with just a touch of aniseed and black pepper. Excellent weight and mouthfeel. Dry finish, drier than in previous years with plum, leather and spice aftertaste.
