Grapes: 100% Cannonau grapes otherwise known as Grenache
Region: Alghero, Sardegna
Characteristics: Ruby in colour, with granite hues. It has an intense bouquet of violets, jam and a distinct spiciness. The palate is robust and well rounded, rustic and earthy with good length. The reserve is aged in oak for 4 years and further in bottle, prior to release.
Serve: 18-20 degrees Celsius and open about 2 to 3 hours prior to serving.
Try with: Roast meat or game, in particular the regional speciality of kid.
