1999 Port Phillip Estate Chardonnay

Made by Paringa Estate winemaker Lindsay McCall. Very developed colour – bright gold. Aroma of yeast lees, honey and biscuit, with a hint of butterscotch in the background. The palate displays layers of complexity with flavours of honeycomb, butterscotch and hazelnut emerging. Excellent length and persistence, perfect balance, followed by very long aftertaste of hazelnut.
Cellar 2-3 years (2004-2005).
Alc/Vol: 13.5%.
