Watery colour with a faint tinge of straw. Pronounced, fresh aromatic nose of rose petal and lychee. The palate has good weight and Alsation mouthfeel, again dominated by lychee and rose petal with extended spicy finish and aftertaste. Good palate length but not in the same league as Classic Alsace, however, an excellent Australian example, with very long spiced aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
