Medium body, brick red crimson colour, with crimson edges. Aroma of blackcurrant, truffle, liquorice and violets – very appealing. On the palate, flavours of stewed fruit and spice followed by an overlay of blackcurrant. Fine grained, dusty tannins, followed by a long stewed fruit and truffle aftertaste. Cellar 2 – 3 years. (2003 – 2004)
