1999 Palliser Estate Pinot Noir

Medium body, crimson mauve colour. Appealing nose with cherry spice aromas with acid end notes. The palate has weight with excellent mouthfeel. Flavours of cherries and spice with a hint of anise. The middle palate takes a bit of a dive and creates a hole in the wine, which may be ‘repaired’ with a few years cellaring. Soft tannins, with an aftertaste that shows length and persistence. Cellar 2-3 years.
