Medium body, deep crimson colour with mauve edges. Aroma of spice, cinnamon, liquorice, toasted oak and blackcurrant. The palate is quite dry, with flavours of blackcurrant, plum and spice. Good length. Fine grained tannins but a palate without complexity or concentration of flavour. A well made commercial wine. Cellar 2-3 years.
