The wine has been aged for 18 months in French and American oak. Very deep crimson colour, with crimson mauve hue. Intense aroma of plum, liquorice, toasted oak and vanilla. Mouthfilling palate, flavours of ripe plum, liquorice and blackpepper with stewed fruit back palate. Fine grained dry tannins followed by a long aftertaste of liquorice plum and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years (2005-2006).
