Totally opaque crimson mauve colour. Superb aromas of ripe confectionery, cherry, vanilla and spice with end notes of violets. Excellent fruit filled nose. The palate flavours are generous, with layers of cherry, spice and blackberry. Excellent weight, but without length. Fine, very dry, firm tannins that overtake the fruit and will require time to balance out. Cellar 3-4 years.
