A soft Pinot, but without the great character that the Meadowbank Grace Elizabeth Chardonnay displayed. Medium body, crimson, brick red colour. Subtle nose, with aromas of cherry, spice and raspberry. The palate flavours are delicate, and there is little complexity. Flavours of stewed fruit, cherry and spice emerge. Velvet smooth tannins. Soft acid finish. Drink up.
