1999 McGuigan Genus 4 Old Vine Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep brick red colour, with deep brick red hue. Aroma of leather, spice and stewed fruit, followed by distinct new leather end notes. On the palate, a faint trace of cod liver oil, over stewed fruit and raisins - not very appealing, followed by cod liver and stewed fruit backpalate flavour. Fine grained dryish tannins. Aftertaste of stewed fruit and spice.
Cellar 1 - 2 years. (2002 - 2003)
