1999 Massoni Red Hill Chardonnay

A powerful, mouthfilling, concentrated Chardonnay. Deep straw colour, showing some oxidative treatment of juice. Superb intense aroma of butterscotch, spice, yeast lees, melon, tropical fruit and toasted oak. The palate is equally impressive with flavours of toasted oak, lees and biscuit followed by honeycomb end palate flavours. Excellent depth and persistence- dry- a wine with exceptionally long aftertaste of honeycomb and biscuit. Cellar 3-4 years
