Cabernet Sauvignon flourishes in the cool and temperate wine districts of Australia producing well-defined regional and varietal aromas and flavours. Lindemans has vast and widespread vineyard holdings in many of the main wine regions of Australia. This, combined with careful grape selection and modern winemaking techniques have allowed Lindemans to produce some of the best-value wines in the world.
The 1999 Lindemans Bin 45 Cabernet Sauvignon was assembled from grapes sourced from diverse vineyard regions to produce a complex, full flavoured Cabernet, which shows great varietal character with balanced subtle oak.
Maturation: Matured in seasoned American and French oak.

Tasting Note:
Deep plum red colour. An attractive nose displaying excellent varietal fruit character. The aromas are of ripe dark berry fruit, violets and a hint of green leaf. The wine is medium bodied and full flavoured in style with a palate of wonderful sweet berried Cabernet fruits with cassis notes. This flavour is supported by a gentle oak influence. Drink now or cellar 1-2 years.
