A big tarry wine with very deep crimson colour and mauve edges. The aroma is of very ripe fruit dominated by tar, toasted oak, liquorice and spice. Mouth filling palate flavours of spice, liquorice, toasted oak and very ripe plum with a peppery backpalate. Fine grained firmish tannins followed by a long aftertaste of liquorice, chocolate and toasted oak. Cellar 3-4 years.
