1999 Koonara Ambriel's Gift Cabernet Sauvignon

The blend is comprised of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. The wine is showing advanced development. Deep brick red colour with brick red hue. The nose is showing senility with notes of cedar, leather and prune. The palate is much the same, with fruit falling away. Flavours of stewed fruit, cedar, old leather and earth emerge. Dryish tannins. Aftertaste of stewed fruit and cedar.

This wine is composed of a blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Merlot. Deep brick red colour showing bottle age. Aroma of stewed fruit, ripe plum and spice followed by a hint of prune. Flavours of leather and stewed fruit. Fine dry tannins. Aftertaste of leather, ripe plum and stewed fruit.
