1999 Haselgrove Lost Sheep Shiraz

Light weight crimson colour, with aroma of leather, earth and stewed fruit, followed by spice and toasted oak end notes. Light palate flavours, with earth, plum and stewed fruit emerging at the end, however, the front palate remains weak. Fine grained firmish tannins, slightly hard finish, with an aftertaste of stewed fruit, earth and leather. Cellar 1-2 years.

Retasted: March 2001

Medium to light weight, with crimson colour. Aroma of spice, stewed fruit, raspberry and ink, with an earthy ink end note. The palate is short, with flavours of cinnamon, stewed fruit and a spice liquorice back palate. Firm tannins, which linger, aftertaste of spice and stewed fruit. Cellar 1-2 years.
