Opaque crimson colour, with deep mauve edge. Aroma of cedar and truffle over a blackcurrant, spice background. On the palate, strong flavours of blackcurrant, spice and liquorice, showing excellent concentration. Fine grained, firm and quite dry tannins, followed by a long liquorice, blackcurrant, cedar and stewed plum aftertaste. Cellar 4 – 5 years. (2005 – 2006)
