1999 Elderton Command Shiraz

This is the 14th release of the Command. The wine has spent 3 years in French and American oak and one year in the bottle. Almost opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Perfumed nose with aroma of spice, confectionary, violets, vanilla and ripe plum. The palate has the voluptuous character that has become the hallmark of Command – flavours of ripe plum, liquorice and vanilla. Fine firmish tannins, followed by a long plum, vanilla and dark chocolate aftertaste.
