Tasting notes: An excellent example of this Rhone style. Very deep crimson colour with mauve edges. The nose displays excellent complexity- perfumed, with notes of spice, plum, raspberry, spice, black pepper and stewed fruit. Mouthfilling palate flavours of spice, confectionary, raspberries and liquorice all sorts. Fine grained dryish tannins. Perfect balance, followed by a very long aftertaste of spice, white pepper, raspberry and liquorice. Cellar 4-5 years.
