An old fashioned style of red with a very dominant earth and farmyard nose and palate. Merlot and Cabernet Franc have been added to the Cabernet Sauvignon. Medium body, crimson colour. Aroma of leather, earth and truffle with farmyard riding over the blackcurrant fruit. The farmyard dominance reappears on the palate, again leaving the blackcurrant fruit out on a limb. Soft tannins followed by earthy farmyard aftertaste. Cellar 1 – 2 years.
