Another new comer to the Australian wine scene. Deep crimson, brick red colour. Medicinal nose, with mint, blackpepper and spice aroma finishing with a tarry, bitumen end note. The palate has an awkward flavour profile, with the medicinal, California Poppy, mint, plum and stewed fruit flavours dominant over a leather and earth background. The acidity appears to be a touch on the high side, soft tannins, followed by aftertaste of bitumen and stewed fruits.
