Wine lovers who like to experience the taste of high toasted oak will enjoy this wine. Medium body, crimson colour, with mauve edge. The nose is old fashioned, yet very appealing with aroma of earth, spice and truffle with hints of violets and confectionery, followed by a very strong toasted end note. On the palate, the toasted oak is very dominant, leaving stewed fruit, plum, liquorice and earth in it’s shadow, creating a tarry overtone. The aftertaste continues to exert the influence of high toasted oak. Cellar 2-3 years.
