The colour of this wine is too advanced for long term cellaring. Very deep brick red colour. Lifted nose of cedar, spice, stewed fruit and violets – very appealing. The palate is mouthfilling with flavours of mulberry, earth, truffle, spice and cedar emerging over a stewed fruit background. Velvet smooth tannins followed by a long aftertaste of spice, liquorice, plum and stewed fruit. Cellar 2-3 years.
