The flagship of the Clarendon Hills collection. Opaque crimson colour with deep crimson mauve edge. Perfumed nose, with aroma of violet, hints of leather, spice, cedar and blackcurrant. On the palate the toasted oak is too dominant for the refined fruit, with spice, plum, liquorice and tar flavours. Fine grained tannins, velvet smooth, followed by very long aftertaste of plum, spice and toasted oak. Cellar 4-5 years.
