Medium body, crimson, ruby colour. Aroma of leather and earth, with Rhone like overtones, over nuances of mint. The palate is relatively light for a Central Victorian Shiraz, and certainly light by Leamon’s past performances. However, there is an elegance of style. Earth, leather flavours persist, over a background of stewed fruit, leather and mint. Soft tannins. Cellar 3-4 years.
