The King Valley region of Victoria has been a leading protagonist of Italian varietals, however, whilst the growers and winemakers are enthusiastic, the public is less so. Medium body, crimson colour with crimson hue. The nose displays a good lift, with aroma of spice, liquorice, raspberry and cherry. The palate is relatively tight, with cherry spice flavours. Fine grained dry tannins, dominated by cherry spice aftertaste.
