1999 Brookland Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

The wine displays a deep black brick red colour, indicative or some early bottle development. The nose is appealing, with aroma of dark chocolate, marzipan, vanilla and spice followed by a distinct vanilla and blackcurrant end note. The palate flavours are indicative of a rapidly developing wine, with flavours of dark chocolate, vanilla, blackcurrant and stewed fruit evident. Firm dry tannins, followed by a warm back palate aftertaste.
