Very deep purple, mauve colour. Aromas of spice, blackberry and blackpepper with overtones of red plums. On the palate there are flavours of plum, stewed fruit and spice with liquorice and inky berry end flavours. Fine grained, soft tannins. The wine is relatively simple in structure at the moment, but will build over time. Blackberry, plum and inky berry aftertaste. Cellar 3-4 years.
