The colour and nose are impressive. The palate is a disappointment. Medium body, very youthful, purple mauve colour. Excellent nose with aromas of spice and ripe plums, followed by a hint of blackberries and blackpepper. The palate flavours are dilute, offering little depth or length. Plum, spice and stewed fruit flavours are evident. Soft tannins and short aftertaste. Cellar 1-2 years.
