Very deep brick red colour with crimson hue. Aroma of spice, truffle and chocolate followed by a hint of cedar and plum. The palate is over-shadowed by dry, firm tannins which are carried right through to the aftertaste leaving behind flavours of cedar, truffle and stewed fruit. A difficult vintage.
