A well made commercial wine. Medium body, brick red crimson colour. Very appealing nose of spice, cedar, blackcurrant and vanilla followed by an earthy end note. The palate is a touch dilute, and displays flavours of chocolate and spice, over nuances of liquorice on the back palate. Soft tannins followed by an aftertaste of liquorice, spice and stewed fruits. Cellar 2-3 years.
