The blend of this wine consists of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot. The wine has been matured in new and used AP Johns American oak casks, as well as casks from French coopers Seguin Moreau, Remond and Taransaud. Opaque, black, brick red colour with black crimson hue. The nose displays considerable complexity, with aromas of chocolate, spice, mocha and vanilla. The palate is dominated by dark chocolate and mocha flavours over a firm dry tannin background, which persists onto the aftertaste.
