An interesting Chardonnay that needs time to evolve. Bright straw colour. Aroma of toasted oak, spice, biscuit, yeast lees, melon and fig. The palate displays moderate length, which should improve with further bottle age. Flavours of grapefruit, yeast lees, toasted honey and biscuit. Crisp acid finish, followed by an aftertaste of yeast lees, biscuit and fig. Cellar 4 – 5 years. (2005 – 2006)
