1999 Alkoomi Blackbutt Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Cabernet Franc

Produced from the vineyard’s oldest vines and matured in new French oak. Very deep opaque black crimson colour. Aroma of spice, blackcurrant, liquorice and cedar followed by a touch of cigar box. The palate has good weight, with a sense of refinement. Flavours of cedar, mulberry and blackcurrant emerge. Fine grained tannins, perfect balance followed by a long blackcurrant, spice and cedar aftertaste.
