Magnificent opaque, crimson, mauve colour. Superb nose, very sophisticated with aroma of violets, blackcurrants, mulberry and spice, followed by a hint of truffle as an end note. Mouthfilling palate, refined with Bordeaux like flavours of truffle and blackcurrant over a background of liquorice, spice and cedar. Excellent balance, fine grained tannins with very long aftertaste of spice, blackcurrant and cedar. Cellar 5-8 years.
