Bright crimson mauve colour. Medium body. Lifted nose of inky blackberries which is very appealing. The palate flavours drop off quickly and do not have the complexity and concentration that the nose has implied. Subtle liquorice, raspberry and spice flavours emerge but without complexity or concentration. Very soft, fine grained dry tannins with raspberry, blackberry and liquorice aftertaste. Cellar 3-4 years. A well made early drinking style.
