A well made, commercial wine. Deep crimson mauve purple colour. The nose is appealing with its aromas of spice, cinnamon oak, liquorice and blackcurrant and a touch of blackpeppers. The cinnamon is quite pronounced on the palate with blackberry and vanilla also present supporting the ripe plum background flavour. Good length and persistence with firmish, yet well balanced tannins followed by cinnamon, spice blackberry aftertaste. Cellar 3-4 years.
