The wine was matured for a period of 12 months in a combination of new and seasoned American and French Oak.Magnificent colour - opaque, crimson mauve. Superb blackberry, spice, blackpepper, vanilla and plum aromas. On the palate the blackberry flavours are interwoven with the blackpeppers which dominate the end palate and run long onto the aftertaste. Cellar 5-8 years.
