Opaque crimson colour. The nose displays a hint of volatility, but it is at an acceptable level and supports and lifts the fruit aromas of spice, plum and blackberry. The palate is full bodied and displays abundant ripe fruit flavours. Ripe plum, blackberry, vanilla, spice and toasted oak are supported by fine grained tannins, followed by a long aftertaste of plum and stewed fruit. Cellar 3-4 years.
