Very deep dark crimson colour, with hints of brick red. Aroma of confectionery, blackcurrant, spice, earth and cowshed, but without intensity. On the palate, the fruit takes a back seat, and is dominated by very fine firm dry tannins, followed by a tarry earth back palate. The aftertaste is dominated by furry dry tannins. Cellar 1-2 years.
