Deep crimson colour with mauve, crimson edge. On the nose the ripe fruit aromas of plum and stewed fruit seem to be in abundance and are supported by a hint of cedar. Generous full bodied palate flavours of blackcurrant, spice and liquorice. Fine soft tannins, excellent balance, followed by plum, stewed fruit aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
