1998 Rouge Homme Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque crimson colour. An excellent sniff, with aroma of violets, blackcurrant and spice - almost perfumed. Excellent palate weight with complexity and concentration. Flavours of plum and stewed fruit to the fore palate, followed by a peppery back palate. Fine grained tannins, with just a trace of leafiness at the very end, leading onto an aftertaste of blackcurrant and spice. Cellar 4-5 years.
