The second of the Hill of Gold reds to be released and again, spectacular colour. Totally opaque crimson purple colour with excellent glass cling. The nose is relatively restrained, with aromas of vanilla, spice and blackcurrant. Mouthfilling palate flavours of vanilla, plum and spice. Fine grained tannins, yet quite firm and rather necessary to support the voluptuous ripe fruit flavours. Aftertaste of vanilla and plum. Cellar 3-4 years
