An outstanding red made along the same style of the generous, mouth filling wines of the 1998 Ingoldby and Annie’s Lane Shiraz. Opaque crimson mauve colour with a very dense black centre. Excellent nose with pronounced aromas of toasted oak, super ripe plum, liquorice, aniseed and spice. Generous mouth filling palate - super ripe fruit with flavours of vanilla, liquorice and plum. Excellent weight and depth of flavour. Velvet smooth tannins, followed by very long after taste of ripe plum, stewed fruit and liquorice. Excellent value for money.
