Brilliant pale straw colour. The wine is a touch old fashioned, reminiscent of early Jack Mann ‘White Burgundies’ – slightly broad, full bodied, yet very interesting. Aroma of spice, tropical fruit, with nuances of honey, mixed herbs and ripe gooseberries. On the palate, flavours of honey over toast, followed by a grassy herbal backpalate, and then a very distinct milk arrowroot biscuit flavour appears. Clean acid finish, followed by a long honey, arrowroot aftertaste.
