1998 Punters Corner Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

This is the stand out wine of the Punters Corner range, and has been matured in American, Russian and French oak.Totally opaque crimson, black colour. Very impressive nose with aromas of rich, ripe plums, vanilla, blackcurrant, spice and liquorice. Excellent ripe berry fruit flavours on the palate with plums, blackcurrant and mocca intermeshed with liquorice and vanilla and supported by fine grained dry tannins. Very long aftertaste of plum, liquorice, vanilla and blackpepper.
