This wine consists of a blend of Sangiovese and Merlot. Medium body, brick red colour. Appealing nose, with subtle aroma of spice, leather and liquorice followed by a violet end note. The palate is tight knit, with the fruit being quite restrained. Dry, gripping tannins, followed by liquorice and spice aftertaste. Cellar 3-4 years.
