The grapes for this wine were sourced from two of West Australia’s oldest vineyards. The 30 year old vines produced a wine with very deep crimson colour, with deep crimson hue. Very appealing nose – almost refined, with notes of spice, violets, cedar and blackcurrant. The palate structure is tight with blackcurrant, liquorice and spice flavours present. Fine grained firmish tannins, followed long lingering blackcurrant, liquorice, spice and earth aftertaste.Cellar 3-4 years (2004-2005).
